Great products/terrible service

I ordered from this company years ago and never had any issues. So I ordered from them again this year, but got a totally different experience. First, my order got delayed by several weeks due to the bad winter storm in TX (where they are located). I was understanding about the delays (COVID and that storm slowed down a lot of businesses) and appreciative when I received a response to my email inquiry about when I would get my order. When I finally received my order, 5 out of 7 items were correct and very nice... the only problem is that two of the pj sets arrived in a size 4x instead of the 3x that I ordered. I emailed, and called and left a message on the customer service message line. No response. After waiting another week after my 2nd email, I used the online chat service, which at first seemed like a bot responding. The rep kept saying that the sku numbers pulled up the size 3x (22/24), even though the product label and tags both say 26/28 (which is a 4x, not a 3x). I bought these on sale and the rep said only one of the sets was available in the smaller size. I could return the items and repurchase them. Ridiculous! This was not my mistake, it was theirs. They said they don't have any provision for exchange, even in this situation. So rather than sending them back and having to deal with the run around again... I just kept them. It would cost more money to repurchase them too. I will not be ordering from this company again or the associated company The Avenue. Ridiculous!

Waste of time!

DO NOT order from here, this was the biggest waste of my time. I place an order because I had a photoshoot and I made sure to place it early enough. I placed it three weeks before my shoot because shipping says 7-14 business days. I placed the order on March 11th, I called on March 19th because it hadn't said it was shipped yet. The customer service person (who I had to call at least a dozen times to get anything other than a voicemail because I left a voicemail and no one ever called me back 4 days prior) said I would receive my package by March 25th. I never received it and so I called March 26th (after 5 calls, I finally got through) and she said that it had not yet shipped but she would put in a request to the highest person at the warehouse but it would take 24-48 hours which would make it Monday and I need the package by Tuesday. I just had to cancel my order, so if you have plenty of time to wait and don't plan on needing to speak to customer service go ahead and order. But don't believe their lie of 7-14 business days on shipping and customer service is a joke.

Worst shopping experience I've had so far

Despite the website indicating items shipping within days of ordering, my items were only shipped when I requested the order be cancelled. Within an hours of receiving an email of acknowledging my request to cancel, I received an email with shipping information. Over the course of the 3 weeks I reached out mulitple times was always told i would recieve an answer within 24-48 hours. To this day no one has ever followed up. At one point i inquired about a price adjustment as prices had dropped while i waited. Looking back i should have canceled my order then and just reordered. The last up date i recieved about the price adjustment is that prices have gone back up so there is nothing to adjust, thankfully i took screenshots of the prices when I reached out. I still have not heard back. Highly recommend not shopping here and I'm planning to avoided city chic as well as they were bought out by the company and since then the service has gone down drastically.

Worst customer service. Ever.

I made an order with expedited shipping. I never received my order, or a follow up phone call from the company. The day I called a rep hung up on me before I could get my order number. I will never order from them again.

No More Customer Service?

I used to purchase from them years ago and never had any issues. Now there is NO customer service. If you call. Straight to voice mail, no one returns calls. Items are always out of stock.

Avoid avoid avoid

Incorrect size charts, return policy on underwear (ew.) customer service takes forever and asks you to do stupid things, if you live in another country you will pay DUTIES. $50 duties on $100 of items.
In fact, they were out of stock of items I had, didn't email me, just shipped. So now I have panties with no matching bra. But wait, there's more, they didn't remove the items that I didn't receive from my packing slip, so I paid duties on an item I never received yay!
Avoid, some of their stuff is nice but it's not worth it at all.

Cheap brand doesnt pay duties

Had to pay over $50 in duties becausde they are too cheap to pay it for us or include it in the price. Had i kjnoiwn a couple things from here would go from $170 to over $220 I never would have ordered it in the first place.

Never did get the refund!

I ordered and the items took forever to arrive. A couple items fit and looked great. However, the teddy was sown incorrectly and looked awful. I called. I took pictures. I returned it with all of its tags plus a note explaining what happened in case my item wasn't associated with my complaint. I was told it would be a couple weeks, but I never did get that refund. I tried calling and got the run around. I feel cheated and lied to. So if you order, I hope it fits and was constructed correctly.
